History

In 1984 Heinz Diederichs joined KONEX Konservierungs- und Export-Verpackungs Gmbh which was founded in 1983 by Hans Kolb, Manfred Raab and Holzbau Vogt Gmbh, at the Borsigallee 12 in Frankfurt/Main.

A year later the activities were moved to Karl-Benz-Strasse 11, Frankfurt/Main after having taken over the packaging activities of Panalpina Frankfurt.

In 1986 Konex joined the “Bundesverband Holzpackmittel, Paletten, Exportverpackung e.V.” (HP member Nr.: 60). They started packing according to the HPE standard.

After the foundation of “Konex Beteiligungs Gmbh” the activities were moved 63303 Dreiech-Sprendlingen, Benzstrasse 22 in 1993.

Between 1997 and 1999 Konex became active in the construction of Pallets and Crates through consecutive participations in Kistenbau Billing Gmbh and Baumgarten Gmbh.

In 2001 the activities were moved to a bigger facility in 35510 Butzbach, Wetzlarer Strasse 111.

Allpack International NV (former Bofort Logistics NV) acquired Konex Verpackungslogistik Gmbh in 2005.
